The
inspiration for these talks comes from the idea of presenting
a new point of view, a new perception, that of Soul. Humanity
at a vital crossroads, an essential transition, at which new
ways of looking at things must be accepted and adopted. At the
present time the Human Kingdom represents evolution on the planet
Earth, and further expansion of the mind must take place if we
are to realise the true potential of what we are.
Soul is a word that has been in our vocabulary a long time, and
its meaning is somewhat unclear. Basically the concept of Soul
expresses the idea of a state of being beyond the little personal
self, and this takes us into a collective understanding, a place
of more unity and connection to the wholeness of life on this
planet.
The Tarot, like Esoteric Astrology, Esoteric Numerology, and
the core of all the great religions, was really meant for those
who are on the journey of the evolution of expanded consciousness.
It was never intended to be used as a card game, or a method
of prediction. It comes down to us from the Ancient Wisdom teachings,
and it has gained its present form and symbolism over thousands
of years. Each card of the Major Arcana represents a phase, or
spiral, and it takes incredible work to go from one spiral to
the next. The symbols had to be very simple and special, so that
the phases could be remembered and understood.
Like a seed
the teachings were planted in the West, then disappeared for
a while, and then in order to come back had to be put in a popularised
form, and so cards were created. Now we have hundreds of different
packs of tarot cards, a lot of them taking the golden thread
of the teachings into the glamour of the emotional body. The
Tarot now is part of the ''New Age Movement'', which is full
of all the astral illusions and glamour, but for those that can
hear, the true message of the Soul is always present.
The talks seek to bring out this true message of the journey
of the soul, and give guidance as to how to apply the Ancient
wisdom teachings to everyday life. Each of the 22 cards of the
Major Arcana will be looked at in detail, and the point of inspiration
in each focused on. |
