Once more the turning of the year – the new time comes, so though we find again the same names of the months, what is given is new and unique, a space never before explored. This new passage will unfold rapidly and the 12 months ahead offer a fresh horizon, challenges and new growth. Our eyes can open as if waking from a deep sleep into a world newly perceived. What will we see as the misted vagueness is lifted from our view? Re- ality and truth are revealed - there is no time to play the game of ignorance.
2008/10/1. The sword of truth sweeps the veils that obscured our vision aside and we are naked, newborn, full of the courage that is born of fearfulness from ages past.

In the centre of the word is the great 3, holding the point of recognition in the turning world, this time in the form of a ‘U’ – a cup to receive, hold the work and say “It’s U that is doing it!”
If we can both fly high and plumb the depths of this internalising energy of January, we see two faces of Janus– two aspects of the fiery work of the 11. If we can find, through our internal work the hidden 11s, we will hear the resonance of the two messages, one above and one below. One calls for the initiatic work to be potentised through the humble acceptance of the vastness of the vision, yet be strong in giving out what is understood from it. The other, echoing below, re-arranges the instrument to receive what we hear from above. Both are held by the foundation stones of our love, to be cleansed and purified by the pain which comes with honesty and truth.
If we add the number of the month to the number of the year, we see a powerful whirlwind of action, there to move us to the fine still point of our centre, where we can foster our new beginning.
January brings the echoes of the work we have done in 2007; the deep sound of past passions strikes a chord in us. We come forth with the new, only through the greater understanding gained from the old. Remember how we turned around; how, standing at that crossroads we took the path of following our love. That road was long and hard, but we followed it to the end with fire in our hearts. We can retrace in our thoughts that pathway and look now on the new one ahead with trust and hope as we start anew. The group work calls, as Aquarius dawns in the sparkling frost.

In January the 2 held the structure, now in February we find the 3 of the Trinity, always adapting, moving, communicating and giving of itself (33/6).
Direction is taken with new courage, to explore the watery Piscean world from the meditative centre of the 7, so fusing the emotional body into the highest intent of love.
The mother calls from this cold polar light, asking us to understand the greater love that gives no earthly com- fort, but burns and glows with fierce tenderness through the vast emptiness of space. It touches and holds galax- ies in place- that love. If we can relate to that enormity, then Spirit can reflect its enduring light into our hearts and give nourishment to the space within us. So the eternal patterns of our karmic life are seen anew and we can surf the wave!

Whatever in February has not been processed through the expansion of our love, comes up anew, and ‘marching’ forward we must ‘walk our talk!’
The Soul energy is held ‘solely’ by the Will; so, spiritual spine in place we can hold strong amid the solar winds of time and space.
Battered from side to side, yet still standing, we have survived the breaking membranes of the past, which still cling to our sensitive, feeling bodies.
The strength of Will, once it has received the nourishment from the greater love and life, can then climb upwards and inwards, to find the light of the new blue-print that has been born in us.

The 1 of the higher Will here meets the will of the personality- can they communicate? Is the personality open and receptive, having gained enough wisdom from the uncountable experiences of life? Everything starts here – everything grows and sprouts, youthful enthusiasm pushing it forward.
On the strong back of that energy the light is re-born, ready to seed matter with the wisdom of consciousness, born of the expansive cosmic love.
The 9 holds the potential wisdom and repeats its simple message constantly; telling us to come back always to the fundamental principles of Spirit and matter. That is our journey and our journeyman is the Soul, there to channel the light of consciousness.

Oh glorious work of regeneration and destruction!
The great 8 of Spirit pushes down on the structure, demanding movement from that which is static and immovable! It is translated as ‘crushing’ if it is seen solely from the point of view of matter. But from the place of the witness or Soul, it is a re-forming of the old indigestible knowledge, which is surfacing from the old kingdom; reforming it into a fresh, new, inspiring recipe, full of abundant nourishment for humanity. So we can welcome the crushing, breaking down feeling that is experienced by the personality, even if we are afraid, for it will render every morsel of life into a spark of conscious light!

Here in the sixth month of this intense year, we touch in ourselves an intermediate sense of completion. Our cups are full ----and yet----- we feel the imminence of more to come----- as yet unknown.

Then, if we can hold ourselves receptive and openhearted, ready to follow the impulse that love will inevitably bring—that ‘more’ comes in, strong and fast! It seems so simple, that we might say “Why didn’t I see it before?” The answer comes – because we were too stubborn in holding too tightly to the past!

But we were not here before ever, so how could we know what to do?
The path is new, the horizon further away than we remember it. The distance and empty space holds our attention, making the little self tremble with an overwhelming fear. Then, in recognising that fear is nothing more than the push of Spirit, the space begins to hold us; to nourish us.
As we decide to move inwards to our lighted core, we become the space, we become the holding – the great Mother is felt within.

Oh sweet sisters, bring in the joy of co-operation! June and July attune together in a tender expression of the life force! The new life of Soul brings in the potential that it has carried on its back for aeons past. The ground is ready for that higher inspiration to root itself into matter. The nature of matter is revealed simultaneously to the understanding of its mystery.
No measurement needs to be done, for that part of the old life has been completed. Now it is simply time for the great Mother to nourish the growing seed, to anticipate the fruit of the vision and to act from the point of love in the heart.
The mind is able to recognise where it has been, the decision has been made to be a translator for inspiration. Now there is no longer any need to wait, nothing can hold the movement back.
Say it! Be it! For the light of the sun shines on you!

The energy of the 8 raises us to find the light of our star. The darkness of the indigo sky makes a backdrop for the sparkling light, as in us the consciousness of the dark depths enables us to augment the light. Hopefully the re-birth here is understood, so we can emerge from our dark cave of misunderstanding, to take a fresh look at life. The message we have to give out is clearer and simpler than it was - more easily heard, once we have washed away any bitter taste left from the past.
We cannot hesitate now to radiate from what we know inside.

As we approach the last 3 months of this year we can gather the harvest of what we have had the courage to learn.
In this years re-birthing energy the place of the 9th month of September asks us to transform any conflict that we still hold onto, to the highest point of understanding. As we rise our mountain of aspiration, we find that from here we can view the richness of the life we have been given. The energy for this rising has been generated by the great karmic work of the 8, bidding us to follow the spiralling wave as it takes us down into the depths of ignorance, then lifts us to heights of understanding. As the 8 comes into the cup of the 6, the communication of the beauty of the process can be realised and communicated.

This is the tenth month, in which the power of the Queen of Libra holds in her loving arms that which needs to find alignment with itself.
The star seeks its reflection in the waiting mirror that is held suspended, reflecting both light and darkness simultaneously. Here, as we see both, it is as if we are floating in a vast hall of mirrors within mirrors, disappearing into infinity. The whole of humanities experience, in all its forms, from the deepest pain to the most blissful joy, is here held and reflected. The choice is there, either to grasp and hold it as our own as we tremble in fear, or open and sacrifice our little selves into it.
Either way there is pain as we let ourselves fall into the sparkling light that is born out of darkness. The sharp sword of will and truth is held up to the light, splitting illusion into shattering shards of crystallised darkness.

The mirror of Karmic elevation reflects into time and space, just as the blueprint of the Trinity above finds its roots in the realisation of how we can bring spirit into matter, through our Soul work of grounding the light.
The heaviness and darkness of the year takes over. We can plunge now into the shadows of the subconscious, for the conflict of the past is ready to discover and reveal its transformative potential.
Then as the engine of the 8 starts to drive the essence into the cup of nature, the mind can rise higher and higher, in its bid to bring out that which was hitherto unseen. The gateway of the subconscious opens in front of us, enabling us to pass through its dark portal, carrying the light of awareness into the shadows.

2008 has plunged mankind to the depths of the past, asking us to illuminate the Karmic patterns within, by using the mirrors of the self and its world. We have asked "Is that myself in front of me, or is it the other?"
Shame and pride encourage us to hide our faces, so that we only see the other and can separate. But if we look again, this time with an accepting open heart, that face in front of us merges with our own and shame is banished. The light clears the space and so we are re-born.

Here in the 12th month we are at the end of the great challenging work of 2008 - we feel the pain that comes out of the decision to build the city of peace from the labour of our weary hearts. Yet each new brick brings celebration and is a symbol of the birth of the Soul, acknowledging the movement of the light of change and the alchemic fire of Spirit within.
The 2 reflects into the 3 below, so the wisdom is seen in the plan on earth.
There is a fanfare clothed in deep eternal silence, held in waiting within the self.
